Adding Block Appointment Days

Certain appointment days are blocked when you want to mark specific dates as unavailable for scheduling. This is helpful during holidays, internal events, personal leaves, or any time when the team won’t be taking client sessions. By adding these blocks, the system prevents new bookings on those days and avoids confusion later. This small setup step controls the calendar and reduces last-minute cancellations.

Follow the step-by-step guide below to add block appointment days in TAAX Pro.

Step 1: Navigate to the left side panel, hover over the “Appointments” section, then click on the “Block Days” option.

Step 2: A new screen will appear. Select whether you want to block the entire day (“Block All Day” Checkbox) or a particular time frame in the day (“Block Partially” Checkbox).

Block All Day

Use this option to mark the entire day as unavailable. It’s useful during full-day team meetings, holidays, or personal leaves where no appointments should be scheduled. Once blocked, no time slots on that date will be open for booking for the customers.

Click on the “Block All Day” checkbox, select an appropriate date, then click on the “Save” button.

Note: After clicking on the “Save” button, a success message will appear on the screen.


Block Partially

This option is helpful when you are unavailable for a part of the day to attend appointments. It blocks out a time range while keeping the rest of the day open for clients. It handles limited-time unavailability.

Click on the “Block Partially” checkbox, select an appropriate date and time frame, and then click on the “Save” button.

Note: After clicking on the Save button, a success message will appear on the screen.
